September is always a busy month, because of work picking up and schools re-opening. After the year that we’ve had, everyone was looking forward to the summer, which promised fun and freedom. As we slowly return to our routines and summer ends, we still have much to look forward to.
Sundays in the Countryside – Halloumi, Cyprus National Product

Halloumi is considered the national cheese of Cyprus and is a Protected Designation of Origin Product (PDO). The Women Association of Rural Larnaca organizes a halloumi workshop where you will be guided through the whole process of how halloumi is made, learn about the tradition of halloumi, as well as try other local products, such as anari.

Cyprus Symphony Orchestra (Orchestra4All) – Community Outreach Concerts

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra continues its creative and innovative projects which promote classical music to the local community by moving from the concert hall to streets and parks all around Cyprus. This marks the beginning of a new artistic season by the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra with classical music masterpieces, such as Eine kleine Nachtmusik by W. A. Mozart and Gioconda’s smile by M. Hadjidakis.

Study on the “Dramatic” Cavafy: Waters of Cyprus, Syria and Egypt (by the Theatrical workshop of the University of Cyprus)

The latest production of THEPAK, which brings to stage the outstanding work of the poet, intellectual and former Mayor of Paphos, Christodoulos Galatopoulos (1902-1953) that follows the model of Dante and Milton and reaches out to every corner of the earth: from the Ancient Greek world to the mythology of Peru and the Incas, from Japan to the Indians of the Americas and to Scandinavian myths.
